The EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Lab Starts from Feb 16, 2000. The advisor is Dr. Shih-Hsu Huang. Dr. Huang received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei. Taiwan, in 1995. From 1995 to 2000, he was with Computer and Communications Research Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsin Chu, rising to the position of deputy manager of IC design department, responsible for the design of high performance ICs. In 2000, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, as a faculty member, where he is currently a Full Professor. Moreover, in 2018, he received the Distinguished Professor Award from Chung Yuan Christian University.

Up to now, 5 students received the Ph.D. degree and 61 students received the master degree from our lab. Currently, our lab has 1 Ph.D student and 10 master students pursuing for their degrees. Our research interests include electronic design automation, IC/SOC testing, digital system design, and AI hardware accelerator design. The ongoing research topics are described as the below.
